Psalm 20: alignment of three

Verse 4: May the Lord grant all your requests according to your heart's desire and fulfill your plans.

Verse 7: Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Psalm 20 is a prayer of the people asking God to hear and answer the prayer of their king. The people pray not only for God's blessing on the king, but also for the king to align his plans and desires with God's will. The king should not rely on chariots or horses, but only on the Lord. When the people's prayer, the king's leadership, and God's will are in alignment, victory will be theirs.
