Psalm 123: Before God without God

Verse 1:

To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens!

The poet's heart is full of mockery and contempt piled up by others. There is no one to help or comfort the poet. Only the Lord God is there for the poet. The poet holds a single grain of sand-like hope in their heart and prays for the last time: "Lord, have mercy on me." Christians must experience the presence of the Lord God in this world. The Bible and many books that explain and apply it testify to the existence of God in the world. In the numerous Christian faith books, it is written that the poet's only hope is not in vain. There are cases where one lives as a Christian in a deeper dimension, even though they live in the same world. Even if the single grain of sand-like hope is fleeting, for the poet and the Christian, there is no other hope but that. So even if the Lord God is not experienced, the poet can only cling to the Lord God. This is the fate that covers them: "Before God without God!"
