Psalm 8: Grace

Psalm 8
Grace

3. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4. what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

◇ There are thoughts that come to mind suddenly. While there are unresolved, frustrating matters in my heart, there is more gratitude than anything else. Like David's confession, what am I that you think of me and care for me?

Is it not because the Lord thinks of and cares for David, not because he is exceptional and great, but because he is lacking and weak?

♧ Lord, thank you for your grace that makes me hum a prayer of gratitude and praise even in my inadequacies. Holy Spirit, lead me in truth! Amen.
